As a photographer and aspiring filmmaker, Naaz Valvani has been fortunate to receive recognition for her work. In 2023, she was honored with a grant from Dartmouth's Studio Art Department for her achievements in photography. A highlight of her early career was being selected by The Chicks to create a segment of their music video "For Her", which supported female voter engagement in the 2020 election. Her short film "Growing up Downtown" further demonstrated her skills, earning her the "best cinematography" award at a New York State film festival.

After graduation, Naaz seeks to enter the field of film production with the hopes of contributing to the expansion of representation in the industry. Through her work, Naaz hopes to challenge existing industry norms, promote authentic storytelling, and help create a more inclusive and equitable landscape in film and entertainment.
